How to Win Every Match Rumble in Match Masters (6 Proven Tips)

Match Masters best match rumble tips

Match Rumble is a multiplayer event in Match Masters where you play against multiple opponents at the same time.

The rewards in this event are great: SE boosters, legendary boosters, album stickers, trophies, and even Super Lucky Spins.

But the competition is also very high. A lot of players join, and only one winner walks away with the grand prize. You’ll need to bring your best boosters just to have a real chance to win.

I’ve lost many of my favorite boosters in this event but you don’t have to follow a similar path.

With the right strategy, you can win almost every Match Rumble you play.

I’ve played more than 500 Match Rumbles and the tips I’m going to share with you have helped me win most of them:

The best part?

These tips and tricks still work in 2025. No matter your skill level or rank.

Let’s get started.

1. Don’t Play With a Strong Booster on the First Try

Every player has their own best booster and perk combination, but that doesn’t always work well in every Match Rumble mode.

If you want to win, you have to use a booster that fits the mode instead of just going with the one you like most.

Here’s the deal:

If you’re not familiar with the current mode, it’s best to play a few games using a basic booster to test things out.

First, select a bronze or silver booster and start the game.

Next, as each match gets close to ending, check which booster the player in first place is using.

Then, once you see what works, switch to that booster and start playing to win.

This way, you’re not risking your favorite booster on something that might not even work.

2. Don’t Use Boosters With Long Animations

Some boosters work great in PvP or solo modes, but they’re not the best choice for Match Rumble. Boosters like Monkey JooJoo or Valentine Vinnie have long and slow animations that take up too much time:

Time is everything in Rumble matches. While you’re waiting for your booster to finish its move, other players are still matching and scoring points, which keeps you stuck in the red zone.

Instead, use fast boosters that activate quickly and keep you moving. Sweep It SE, All Aboard SE, and The Jelly SE are great examples:

They won’t slow you down and let you get right back to making moves.

The faster your booster plays, the more points you can score in less time.

3. Choose Perks That Charge Your Booster

In Match Rumble, always aim to charge your booster as soon as the game starts. If you don’t, you’ll likely get knocked out in the first round.

In most Match Masters modes, you have to match the blue stars on the board to charge your booster. But sometimes things don’t go your way, and the board doesn’t give you enough blue stars to fill your booster energy.

Fortunately, there are perks that help with that.

All you need to do is use the perks that bring stars to the board. The best options for that are Star Maker and Mini Cleo.

Star Maker adds extra blue stars to your board, which helps you make more blue matches:

Mini Cleo duplicates any piece on the board, and you can use it to duplicate blue stars:

However, some Match Rumble modes don’t require matching blue stars to charge your booster.

For example:

In Rainbow Energy mode, each color charges your booster differently (excluding red and blue). And the best perk for this mode is Checkerboard.

Checkerboard creates a checkerboard pattern using two colors, which helps you charge your booster faster in this mode:

Alternatively, in Color Crush mode, the pieces you match will explode all pieces of the same color (blue and red excluded). And the best perk for this mode is Energy Boost.

Energy Boost charges your booster on any match you make as if you matched blue stars, no matter the color of the piece:

4. Don’t Play Match Rumble Against Too Many Players

If you want to play just to have fun, it’s okay to play no matter the number of opponents you face in the match. But if your goal is to win the game and earn rewards, then you should avoid playing Match Rumble with many players.

I know that Rumble games with 50 or 100 players offer bigger rewards such as booster boxes and Super Lucky Spins.

But think about it: These rewards will attract stronger and more skilled players too. Also, the more players you face, the more likely you are to lose.

So I recommend playing against fewer players even if the rewards aren’t as big as the in large rumbles. Your chances of winning will increase, and the players you’ll compete with are within reach.

Winning a smaller rumble gives you better rewards in the long run than constantly losing the big ones.

5. Read the Rules Before You Play

This is important.

Before you play any Match Rumble, make sure to check the rules. There are tons of modes in Match Masters, and each one plays differently. You have to adapt to the mode you’re going to play.

As I mentioned earlier, you have to pick the right booster and perks if you want to win. And how can you do that if you’re skipping the rules?

Checking the rules is easy. You just need to tap the “i” icon on the top right of the Match Rumble you want to play.

This will save you from losing your booster on a mode you don’t even know how to play.

For example, if the mode is Gem Grab, I’ll pick a booster like El Magneto SE or Brocco Boogie.

If the mode is Multiplier Madness, I’ll choose Cleo Cadabra or Mixy Meow.

And so on.

6. Play Quickly to Score More Points

Time is your biggest opponent in Match Rumble. Every second you waste is a chance for someone else to score more points and get ahead.

If you take too long thinking, you’ll fall behind quickly. If you’re still slow at matching tiles, I recommend playing with your friends in private matches. This will help you improve your skills and become faster at matching pieces.

Private matches are friendly games where you don’t lose your boosters or trophies, and they’re only for fun.

Now let’s dive into the step-by-step process of creating a private match:

First, go to the Events section and tap on Private, then choose a game mode. Since you want to improve your skills on Match Rumble games, select Match Rumble and tap Create.
