Match Masters Events: Match Rumble, Perfect Heist & More

If you’ve ever opened Match Masters and thought, “What’s this event and how do I even play it?” – that’s a common question. With so many events popping up like Match Rumble, Perfect Heist, Score Rally, and more, it can get confusing fast.
But here’s the deal: these events are where the real prizes are. We’re talking free boosters, sticker packs, Super Spins, and exclusive achievement badges you won’t get anywhere else.
In this guide, you’ll learn everything about Match Masters events, how each one works and what to do to win.
Let’s get started.
What Are Match Masters Events?
Match Masters events are special time-limited game modes that give you unique challenges and big rewards. They’re different from regular matches because they often have special rules and bigger prizes like premium boosters, coins, or exclusive items.
Since each event plays differently, you’ll want to check the rules and rewards first. Just tap an “i” icon to see what it’s about, what you need to play, and what you can win. Most events need a certain boosters and perks to win, so make sure you’re prepared before jumping in.
Events refresh often – some change daily, others every few days which keeps the game exciting and less repetitive. They’re also built to test your skills in different ways, beyond just standard 1v1 matches.
Why Match Masters Events Are Worth Playing
Events in Match Masters aren’t just extra game modes—they’re one of the fastest ways to improve your progress, earn better rewards, and enjoy more variety while playing. Here’s why they matter:
- You get better rewards like legendary boosters, big coin bundles, and rare stickers
- You improve your skills by learning new strategies across different event types
- You avoid repetition thanks to fresh challenges that change daily or weekly
- You build teamwork in events that reward your whole team for working together
- You can play privately by inviting friends or teammates for casual matches or practice
If you’re serious about leveling up faster and getting more out of the game, events should be a regular part of how you play.
Daily Events
Daily Events change every day and give you new ways to earn rewards. You can access them by tapping the “Events” button in the bottom menu or going to Daily Modes. They reset every 24 hours, so it’s worth checking in daily to take advantage of what’s available.
Here are the daily events you’ll find in Match Masters:
Match Rumble
Match Rumble is a high-pressure event where you compete against multiple players at the same time. Your goal is to stay out of the red zone, which means avoiding the lowest scores each round.

Match Rumble unlocks once you reach 550 trophies, so make sure you’ve hit that mark before trying to join.
The event runs on a timer, and the clock never stops—not even for booster animations. You have a limited number of moves, rounds, and time, so you need to play quickly and score high. If the timer hits zero, you won’t be able to use your booster.

To keep advancing, you need to finish each round in the green zone.

If you drop into the red zone, you’re out. The last player standing with the highest score wins the match.

There are two versions of this event:
Standard Match Rumble: Players move through several rounds:

One-Round Match Rumble: Just one quick round decides the winner:

Stars are also rewarded as you go:

- Survive 1 round = 1 Star
- Survive 2 rounds = 2 Stars
- Win the whole Rumble = 3 Stars
Winners get prizes based on their final position, but only the grand winner keeps their booster.

In the “Fresh Forward” version, if you finish in the green zone, your score resets in the next round—so every round starts fresh.
If you like quick thinking and intense matches, Match Rumble is where your skills get pushed the hardest.
Party
Party is a competitive event that feels similar to Match Rumble but with a bit less pressure.

You play against several other players, and if you finish in the top 50% (the green zone), you get to keep your booster.

You have a limited number of moves, rounds, and time. The timer never stops, not even for animations, so you need to play quickly and think ahead.

Coins aren’t rewarded in this mode, but Party gives you more trophies than a normal match. If you want even more, you can use the Booster Stakes Multiplier to increase your rewards.

Stars are given like this:
- Finish 1st place = 3 Stars
- Any other green zone placement = 2 Stars
- Red zone = 1 Star and you lose your booster
Even if you’re falling behind, don’t give up. Every player’s trophy gain or loss depends on where they finish.
If you want faster matches with big trophy gains and a fair chance to keep your booster, Party is the event to play.
Showdown
Showdown is a 1v1 event where both players play at the same time. No waiting for turns—you and your opponent go head-to-head on the same starting board, racing to get the highest score before time runs out.

You each have a set number of moves and a shared time limit, but you’re playing separately. That means you’re not watching their moves—you’re focused on your own game. The timer doesn’t pause, not even for matches or booster animations, so you’ve got to play fast and smart.

It’s fast, competitive, and perfect if you hate sitting around waiting. Just jump in, match pieces, and try to outscore your opponent before the clock hits zero.
Knockout
Knockout is a head-to-head event where every move you make hits your opponent’s health bar. The first player to reach zero health loses, and the winner walks away with the victory.

You and your opponent take turns making one move at a time. A bubble above the timer shows how many moves you have left before the turn switches.

In this event, you can’t pick your own perks. The game gives you four fixed perks: two premium perks (often Bomb Delivery and Remove Cross) and the standard hammer and shuffle.

That means you’ll need to adapt your strategy to the perks provided, not the ones you usually use.
Knockout is all about smart hits, careful planning, and making every move count. If you enjoy fast, strategic battles where pressure is high and mistakes hurt, this one’s for you.
Adventure
Adventure is a special game mode that takes you on a path full of matches, rewards, and challenges. Your goal is to reach the final level and win the grand prize—but you only have a limited number of lives to get there.

Each adventure has a themed map with multiple stages. To move forward, you need to win the match at each stage. Lose a match, and you lose a heart. If you run out of hearts before finishing, the adventure ends.

Along the way, you can pick up rewards like coins, stickers, and perks. Each Adventure has its own theme and its own sticker album. By playing and completing stages, you collect stickers from that album. Finish a page or the whole album, and you’ll unlock epic rewards.

Adventure mode unlocks when you reach 7,000 trophies. Once it’s available, you’ll start seeing themed adventures like:
- Flames & Fortune
- Heroes & Holograms
- Seadogs Scallywags
- Tombs & Treasures
It’s a fun way to mix things up and score some great prizes—just don’t run out of hearts before the final stage.
Tournaments
Tournaments are where you put your skills to the test and go head-to-head with other players in a bracket-style competition. These matches come with special rules, modifiers, and sometimes entry requirements—like using a specific booster level, spending coins, or using tickets.

When you join a tournament, you’re randomly paired with another player. The game doesn’t start until all spots are filled, so everyone begins at the same time.
Each round works like this: You’re placed in a group of 4 players. If you win your match, you move on to face the winner of the other match in your block. Keep winning, and you’ll make it to the finals.

Before entering, make sure you’re using your best perks and your favorite booster. You’ll be locked into the same booster and perks for the entire tournament—you can’t switch once it starts.
Tournaments give out great prizes like boosters, stickers, spins, and event points. You can see all the rewards and rules by tapping the “i” and gift icons on the tournament banner.

You also earn stars and trophies for winning matches, unless the tournament is marked as unranked—those will show an “unranked” icon in the banner.
Tournaments (and private ones too) unlock when you reach 16,000 trophies, so once you hit that, you’ll be able to jump in and climb your way to the top.
Solo Events
Solo Events unlock at 600 trophies and let you play without an opponent. Your goal is to hit a target score or complete a challenge on your own.
You can replay them as many times as you need, but you must win to keep your booster. These events are great for earning rewards while practicing at your own pace.

Some boosters work a bit differently in Solo Events because there are no rounds, so their effects are adjusted. Here are a few examples:
- Vinnie Valentine/SE creates fewer hearts
- Monkey Joo Joo drops 4 Voodoo Skulls on the first activation, then 1 after that
- Brocco Boogie throws 2 Disco Balls every time
- Cleo Cadabra throws only one Scarab on the second activation and up
- All Aboard SE has each Bandit throw 4 dynamite instead of 6
- Sweep It SE places a stronger small broom than in regular matches
- Mixy Meow uses the kitty code twice from the second activation onward
- Jelly SE gives only one jelly platter after activation
Here’s how each Solo Event works:
Speed Solo
Speed Solo is a fast event where you need to score quickly before time runs out. You play alone, and the challenge is to hit a target score using a set number of moves and a short timer.

For example, you might need to score 2,450 points in 50 seconds with 7 moves.

The clock keeps running even during booster animations, so you’ll need to think fast and keep moving. A timer bar on the screen shows how much time you have left.
Speed Solo is the newest solo event in Match Masters, and it’s all about speed and quick decisions. If you like fast challenges, this event is for you.
Score Rally
Score Rally is a solo event where you try to reach checkpoints by scoring enough points within a set number of moves. You have 25 minutes to hit all the checkpoints and complete the event.

Each time you reach a checkpoint, your moves reset and you get a one-time prize. If you finish a lap with extra moves, they get added to your booster’s energy. When you start a new lap, you pick up from the last checkpoint you reached.

You can play the event as many times as you want, but you can only collect each prize once. After finishing all the goals, you can keep playing to improve your score and get on the leaderboard.

You’ll also earn 1 Star for every checkpoint you reach. These stars are added automatically without a pop-up.
Score Rally unlocks at 4,500 trophies, so once you hit that, you’re good to go.
Perfect Heist
In Perfect Heist, your goal is to unlock all the safes within a set number of moves. Each safe gives you a one-time prize, and you have 25 minutes to collect them all.

To win the challenge, keep your booster, and claim the rewards, you must unlock every safe before the timer runs out.
You can replay the event if you lose, but you can’t win the same prizes again. After finishing, you can keep playing to boost your score on the leaderboard.

You’ll also earn 1 Star for every safe you open. These stars are added automatically without a pop-up.
Perfect Heist unlocks at 3,800 trophies.
Cosmic Rush
Cosmic Rush is a solo event where you race against time—or in this case, oxygen. You’re on a spaceship with limited oxygen, and your goal is to reach as many planets as possible before it runs out.

You earn prizes as you reach each planet by matching unlimited pieces. Matching four or more pieces gives you extra oxygen, helping you keep going.

The oxygen timer pauses during booster activations, but not during their effects. When your oxygen gets low, you might not be able to activate boosters or perks because of animations—so watch the timer carefully.
Every planet you reach gives you a Star, and those stars are added automatically. You can replay the event as many times as you want, but you can’t win the same prizes again.
Cosmic Rush unlocks at 3,800 trophies.
Solo Mutation Lab
In Mutation Lab, you have 25 minutes to reach high scores, earn DNA, and unlock prizes by using special game modifiers called mutations.

Mutations let you change the rules or give you instant bonuses. Some give you more score, others shift the board or affect how pieces behave. Pick the ones that work best with your booster, perks, and current board setup.

You’ll hit mutation points as you play. Each time you reach one, you get 3 extra moves to help push further and trigger more mutations. The more you play, the more the game changes.

Every time you reach a goal, you earn DNA points. Even if you don’t finish the full run, your DNA adds up over time and unlocks rewards in the Mutation Lab.
To keep your booster, you need to complete all goals in one try. But to finish the full lab and get the final prize, you’ll need to play multiple runs and collect enough DNA.
Mutation Lab gives you control to shape the game—so choose wisely, play smart, and stack those mutations to go further each time.
Temporary Events
Temporary Events are time-limited game modes that appear on the home screen when active. Each event has its own rules, goals, and rewards. Some are leaderboard-based, others are competitive or tied to mini-games.
Here’s a look at the main Temporary Events in Match Masters and how each one works:
Match Rumble Mutation Lab
Match Rumble Mutation Lab is a twist on regular Match Rumble. You still play against multiple players, but now the rules change every round with new mutations added to the match.

Just like in Solo and PvP Mutation Lab, each round introduces a new game-changing effect that applies to everyone. These mutations can affect the board, boosters, or how moves work so you’ll need to adjust your strategy as you go.

If you enjoy fast matches and unpredictable rules, this is your chance to test how well you handle change under pressure.
Star Race
Star Race is a leaderboard event where you compete to earn the most stars before time runs out. After each game, the stars you earn are added to your Star Race score.

Only games that finish before the event ends will count. If you start a match before the timer runs out but don’t finish it in time, you won’t get the points.

If two players have the same score, the one who reached it first gets the higher spot on the leaderboard.
Fire Starter
Fire Starter is a winning streak event. Your goal is to win as many matches in a row as you can. The longer your streak, the higher you climb on the leaderboard.

Only your highest streak counts. If you lose a match, your score won’t reset but you’ll need to start a new streak and beat your previous best to improve your rank.
If two players have the same streak, the one who got there first gets the higher spot.
You can also boost your streak by using the Booster Stakes Multiplier. For example, if you stake 5 boosters and win, your profile will count it as 1 win, but your Fire Starter streak will go up by 5.
Important things to know:
- The event only counts wins after Fire Starter starts
- Solo games, Rumble, and friend matches don’t count
- Only games that finish before the event ends will be counted
- Wins from any mode—tournaments, adventure, or regular—count toward your streak
Score Smash
Score Smash is a leaderboard event where you play a special game mode and build up your total score. After each match, your score is added to your Score Smash total, whether you win or lose.

The goal is simple—score as high as you can across all your matches. The more you play and the better you score, the higher you climb on the leaderboard.
Only matches that finish before the event ends will count. If your game doesn’t finish in time, the score won’t be added.
If there’s a tie, the player who reached the score first gets the higher spot.
Score Smash unlocks at 7,000 trophies.
Booster Clash
Booster Clash is a competitive event where you can win your opponent’s booster. It costs one Entry Ticket to join a match, and it’s only available on Saturdays.

You’ll only face opponents using the same booster tier as you, so the matchups stay fair. If you win, you get their booster. If you lose, they get yours.

You won’t earn trophies in this event, but you will earn Stars, Glory, and a shot at some great boosters.
Booster Clash unlocks at 3,800 trophies, so once you reach that point, you can start playing for real stakes.
Win it Big Friends Edition
In Win It Big Friends Edition, you earn one ticket every time you invite a new friend to Match Masters using the special Win It Big link while the event is live.

Each ticket gives you a chance to win bonus prizes at the end of the event. The more friends you invite, the more tickets you get—and the better your chances of winning.
Keep in mind:
- Each ticket has a 1 in 10 chance of winning
- There are multiple prize levels
- If more than one of your tickets wins, you’ll get the highest prize you qualified for
It’s a fun way to bring in new players and score some extra rewards while you’re at it.
Matchinko
Matchinko is a limited-time mini-game that mixes Match-3 gameplay with the classic Pachinko style. It’s fun and packed with big rewards.

To play, you need Mini Game Tokens (Arcade Tokens), which you can collect by:
- Winning PvP matches when the Token Rush event is active
- Participating in other in-game events
- Collecting the daily free Match Masters gifts

Once you have tokens, you can drop Matchinko balls and try to create Match-3 combos or higher. The better your combos—and the more multipliers you hit—the more points you score.
Matchinko unlocks at 30,000 trophies, so once you’re there, you can jump in and go for top rewards.
Dig It
Dig It is a limited-time mini-game where you dig through a tile-covered board to find all the hidden items. Each level is complete once you uncover everything.

Every move counts, so you’ll need to plan carefully. Some tiles may reveal special pieces that help clear more space and speed things up.

Dig It becomes available once you reach 30,000 trophies. If you enjoy puzzle-solving with real rewards at the end, this one’s worth digging into.
Token Rush
Token Rush is a limited-time event where Mini Game Tokens appear on the board during matches. You’ll need these tokens to play mini-games like Matchinko and Dig It.

To earn a token, you have to collect it from the board and win the match. If you lose, the token won’t count. You can also use the Booster Stakes Multiplier to earn more tokens from your wins.
Every token you collect gets you closer to rewards in the mini-games. Token Rush unlocks at 30,000 trophies, so once you’re there, you can start grabbing tokens and playing for big prizes.
Story Rush
Story Rush is a limited-time event that boosts your progress in mini-games. While it’s active, you’ll earn more Mini Game Tokens from Daily Mode wins and collect extra Sparks from each mini-game level.

The event helps you move through stories faster and unlock bigger rewards along the way.
If you’re working on any mini-game storylines, this is the perfect time to jump in and make progress.
Earth Day
The Earth Day Challenge is a limited-time event where you can earn in-game rewards and help the planet.

Your goal is to collect 25 Shovel Points. Once you do, Match Masters will plant a real tree for you in partnership with dots.eco, and you’ll get a certificate to show your impact.

Here’s how to earn Shovel Points:
- From April 22 to April 27, every $1 spent in the Masters Market or on matchmasters.com earns you 1 Shovel Point
- Each daily gift collected during the event gives you 1 extra Shovel Point for free
You can track your progress at matchmasters.com, and as you earn more points, you’ll unlock rewards along the way.
Purchase Events
Purchase Events are special offers in Match Masters that give you extra rewards when you buy items from the store or Masters Market. These events run for a limited time and add more value to your purchases.
Each event works differently, so let’s go through the current Purchase Events and see how each one works:
Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt is a purchase event where you collect Treasure Maps by buying offers from the in-game store or Masters Market. For every $1 USD spent, you earn 1 Treasure Map. The exchange rate is adjusted based on your local currency.

The more maps you collect, the more rewards you unlock. Every map brings you closer to bigger prizes.
This event runs alongside store deals, so while you’re grabbing an offer, you’re also working toward extra rewards. It’s a good way to get more value out of your purchases.
Entry Tickets
Entry Tickets let you join the Booster Clash event, where you compete against other players to win their boosters. The event only happens on Saturdays, so you’ll only see your ticket count when it’s live.

Each ticket is single-use—it’s spent whether you win or lose the match. You can buy Entry Tickets in advance so you’re ready when the event starts.
If you want to take part in one of the most competitive events in Match Masters, Entry Tickets are your way in.
Piggy Bank
While the Piggy Bank is active, every star you earn adds coins to it. Once it’s full, you can break it open by purchasing it to claim all the coins inside.

When you break the Piggy Bank, you get those coins at a lower price than what you’d normally pay in the store. It’s a simple way to save up coins just by playing, then buy them at a discount.
Win It Big
Win It Big is a special event where every $1 you spend in the game earns you one ticket. These tickets give you a chance to win extra rewards at the end of the event.

Each ticket has a 1 in 10 chance to win, and there are multiple prize levels. If more than one of your tickets is selected, you’ll get the highest prize from your winning entries.
The more tickets you collect, the better your chances of getting a top reward. It’s a great way to earn bonus prizes while making regular purchases.
Main Events
Main Events are limited-time challenges with unique themes where you earn points by playing matches and completing tasks. These events unlock at 3,800 trophies and give you the chance to win valuable rewards as you progress.

Points are earned by doing things like playing games, inviting friends, or helping your team but not from private matches. Once you earn enough points, you’ll unlock the Top Masters event at the end for even more prizes.

To see how points are awarded in each event, tap the blue “i” icon on the Main Event screen. You can also use the Booster Stakes Multiplier to speed up your progress.
Top Masters
Top Masters is a special event that unlocks only after you complete a Main Event while it’s still active. It offers upgraded rewards, making it one of the most valuable events in the game.

If you’ve played it before, you’ll pick up where you left off and any prizes you already claimed won’t reset. Once you finish the event, your progress goes back to the start, and you can work your way up again.

Top Masters becomes available at 3,800 trophies, just like Main Events.
Private Events
Private Events let you play custom matches with your friends, teammates, or family. You can create or join events like Tournaments, Booster Clash, and Match Rumble, and only invited players can join.

These events update daily, giving you different ways to compete with your group.
To create a private event:
- Go to the Events screen and tap the “Private” tab
- Choose the event type and tap “Create”
- Pick your booster and perks
- Share the event code or link with others using the “Share Link” button
To join a private event:
- Go to the “Private” tab
- Tap “Enter Game Code”
- Type the code you received and tap “Join”
These matches are just for fun—they don’t reward Stars. But they’re a great way to test your skills and see who’s best in your group.
Final Thoughts
Match Masters events are where the real action happens. They give you more ways to earn rewards, try new game modes, and keep things fun every day. Whether you’re playing solo, competing in a tournament, or chasing prizes in temporary events, there’s always something worth doing.
If you want to level up faster, win better rewards, and enjoy the game even more, make events a regular part of your play.
