Match Masters Achievements: How to Earn & Upgrade Badges Faster

Match Masters offers a massive collection of achievement badges for players to choose from.
From seasonal badges that show your league rank to win streaks that prove you’re a pro, achievements are the perfect way to showcase your journey.
If you’re just getting started in the game and struggling to unlock new badges or to level up your existing ones, this guide will help you.
I’ll show you a few ways you can earn and upgrade achievement badges fast in Match Masters.
Let’s start.
What Are Achievements in Match Masters?
Achievements are goals in the game that award you with badges that can be displayed in your profile and next to your name during matches. So they’re basically your way of flexing your gaming skills to everyone you play against.
Many players ignore them (thinking they’re just for show), but achievements actually help you:
- Prove your skills with visible badges
- Set goals so you keep going
- Track your progress through different parts of the game
A lot of achievement badges can be upgraded. So when you unlock a new badge, you can upgrade it through different levels.
For example, the Blazing Hot badge starts at a 15 win streak but you can level it up all the way to 50:

Types of Achievements in Match Masters
There are three main categories of achievements in Match Masters. And I’ll break them down below:
Seasonal achievements

Seasonal achievements are tied to a specific season and give time-limited badges that show how well you performed during each season. And they come in five levels (I through V) or some special badges such as “Top 1000” or “Top 100”, etc.
Once the season ends, you can use the badge you’ve earned for 30 days then you can’t activate it, but it will still be visible to anyone who visits your profile.
Game mode achievements

Game mode achievements show how good you are at different modes. Each game mode has its own badge which starts from I to V and every level has a different color:
Not all games give the same points, you’ll receive one badge point for winning a normal PVP match and five badge points for winning in solo events or Match Rumble.
Other achievements

All other achievement badges fall under this category, and they highlight your different milestones like how many friends you’ve invited to play Match Masters, how many albums you’ve completed, and how much you’ve been playing the game.
This leads us to…
How to Unlock New Achievement Badges
Ready to start collecting? So let’s see how to unlock and activate achievement badges:
First, you need to check your current progress, so tap on the profile picture at the top left of your home screen.

Then, scroll to see the achievements and choose which one you want to focus on.
Now tap on the badge you’ve chosen to see your current progress and how much remains to unlock it or to upgrade it.
For example, in the game mode achievement badges, you can see which mode you need to play and how many points you need:

In the other achievement badges, you can see what you need to do:

Finally, when you unlock a new badge and want to display it on your profile, tap on the badge and tap on the “Pick as top achievement” button.
Best Tips to Level Up Achievement Badges Faster
Now you know how to unlock achievement badges, so it’s time to share some tips with you that helped me unlock and level up badges faster.
Play multi-mode games
Besides the 5 points you get for solo events and Match Rumble, there are some modes that will count toward two different achievements at once.
For example, this Match Rumble has two game modes, “Mighty Mushrooms” and “Bombs Away”:

So if you win, you’ll get points for the “Mighty Mushrooms Master” and “Bombs Away Master” badges, which means 10 points.
Cool.
Use the Booster Stakes Multiplier
The booster stakes multiplier is an amazing feature that lets you stake multiple boosters on a single match to multiply your rewards when you win.
The best part?
The game mode’s badge points are multiplied too. So you can play with the x5 multiplier and if you win the match, you’ll get 5 badge points instead of 1.
This way, you’ll gloriously unlock and level up your badges very fast.
Join a team
If you aren’t in a team yet, you’re missing a lot. Trust me!
Being in an active team will help you complete albums faster, get access to team events, and collect free boosters and perks.
On top of this, you’ll unlock some achievement badges that are only available through team activities.
For instance, the “Helping Hand” badge requires helping your teammates or the “Top Trader” badge requires sending stickers to teammates.
Conclusion
If you’ve been ignoring achievements because they “don’t matter”…
Yeah, that’s the fastest way to stay stuck with the same basic badges forever.
On the whole, achievement badges in Match Masters are proof of your skills, and how much you’ve been grinding in the game. So don’t look like a newbie when someone visits your profile.
But you don’t have to unlock everything on day one. Just pick one or two badges that you really like and focus on them, then watch that tier level climb!
Now it’s your turn. What’s your “Top Achievement” right now? Are you chasing a 50-win streak or are you a Sticker Master? Leave a comment below and let me know!
