This post will show you how to get free Travel Town diamonds.

Diamonds are the most valuable Travel Town currency that you can use to get energy, splitters, jokers, and unlock new slots in the storage.

But diamonds are hard to get, and most players don’t want to spend money.

That’s why I’m going to share with you 9 strategies that I use to get free diamonds in Travel Town:

1. Complete Weekly Goals and Daily Challenges

Daily challenges are the easiest way to get free diamonds in Travel Town. You’ll have 12 small daily tasks like merging a number of items or collecting a certain amount of coins.

Each task has a small reward (often includes a few diamonds or energy), and when you finish all the tasks, you’ll earn a big reward and unlock the golden task that will give you a valuable prize which includes a good amount of diamonds, but only if you finish it of course.

Weekly goals work the same way, but with harder challenges and rare prizes that can include jokers, splitters, joker cards, chests, energy, rare or golden cards, and a bunch of diamonds.

There are 7 days and 5 challenges on every single day. You’ll get a small reward and a number of points for every challenge. These points fill a progress bar, and you’ll claim milestone rewards as you collect more points.

You have to finish all the weekly challenges to completely fill the bar so you can claim the top prize, which is mostly 100-350 diamonds.

Note: Some tasks are related to live events, so you must complete them while the events are still active

2. Complete Travel Pass Challenges

The Travel Pass is another source of free diamonds, even if you didn’t buy the VIP PASS. Every order that you deliver will earn you keys (points) so you move forward on the pass track and earn prizes and diamonds along the way.

That said, focus on bigger orders since they give more points. Try to complete a few each day to stay ahead. When the event ends, you’ll have collected a good pile of free diamonds without much effort.

3. Unlock New Items

You’ll earn one diamond every time you unlock a new mergeable item, just open your collection book to find the new item as a sticker and claim your diamond from the gift box.

You might think that these diamond amounts are small, but over time, as you play and the more items you unlock, you’re going to notice that these little bonuses add up.

Keep merging new chains whenever you can; it’s an easy way to grow your diamond count over time.

4. Play Events

Events are fun and rewarding at the same time. Each event comes with its own special merge boards and unique items. You need to play on the main board to collect the Event Energy that you’ll use to produce items you have to merge on the event board.

As you progress and unlock new event items, you’ll earn free diamonds and energy.

If you reach the end of the item chain, you’ll earn the grand prize that will satisfy your need for resources. So don’t skip the events and don’t waste energy until there is an active event; this way you’re going to hit two birds with one stone.

5. Complete Albums and Card Sets

Cards and albums are one of the best features of Travel Town, not only as a good source of free diamonds but as a way to enjoy the game too.

You collect card packs as you play (from challenges and events), and when you complete a set, you’ll receive a reward which can be energy, diamonds, and chests that contain both. The value of the rewards varies from set to set depending on the rarity of the cards.

The best part? If you’re lucky enough to finish the entire album, you’ll get 1000 diamonds and other amazing prizes. You can trade the duplicate cards with your friends to complete sets faster; also aim for the sets that give the biggest diamond prizes first.

6. Open Crates

You can earn crates when you unlock new producers or from a few orders after that. And these crates contain coins, energy, and diamonds. Tap on the crate to open it, then the rewards will appear directly on your main board.

But here’s where most players mess up… they open the crates right after earning one so they don’t get the full reward. Instead, you should merge them to a higher level to get better rewards (they can be merged up to level 5).

7. Complete Orders

There are some special orders that will give you free diamonds or chests, but they are timed and hard. Mostly you’re going to end up spending all your energy and diamonds without completing the order.

In fact most orders might not give diamonds directly, but they help you unlock almost every system that does such as your weekly goals, Travel Pass progress, and events.

You just have to know how to prioritize the orders. For example, I complete the orders that are related to events or challenges first to hit multiple goals at once from one order.

8. Join Social Media Contests and Giveaways

Travel Town’s team often posts contests and giveaways on their social media pages, giving free diamonds or energy most of the time for the lucky winners who are picked from comments.

So here are their official accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X if you want to follow them.

Speaking of links, they publish some links every day that give you free energy when you click them, but you have to act fast because they expire quickly.

9. Merge Diamond Items on Your Board

Like I mentioned above for crates, the diamonds will appear on your board as you play. But don’t collect them right away, they can be merged up to level 5, so merge them first. Higher-level diamond items give more gems when tapped.

• Diamond item level 1 gives 1 diamond
• Diamond item level 2 gives 3 diamonds
• Diamond item level 3 gives 7 diamonds
• Diamond item level 4 gives 15 diamonds
• Diamond item level 5 gives 32 diamonds

So even if you don’t have other diamond items to merge, keep it in storage until you earn it.
