How to Get Free Energy in Travel Town

I’ve spent way too many nights merging items in Travel Town until my energy bar hit zero. And honestly, it always seems to happen when I’m only one merge away from delivering a timed order and collecting a huge reward.

You know that moment when you stare at your board and wish for just one more merge.

The good news is that you don’t need to spend money to keep playing. After countless hours playing this game on my phone, I’ve found plenty of ways to get free energy, and I’ll share them all with you here.

Wait for the Energy Refill

If your energy drops below 100, the game will start refilling it automatically. You’ll receive 1 energy every 2 minutes until you reach 100, it was faster in the past (1 every 1.5 minutes) but it has changed. Anyway, it’s still a good way to earn free energy while you’re away from the game.

Watch Ads

You can earn free energy by watching short video ads. Each ad will give you 25 energy and you can watch up to 4 ads per day, which means you can earn 100 energy per day just by watching ads. But keep in mind that the ads won’t be available until you’re out of energy.

Complete the Daily Challenge

Every day, Travel Town gives you new challenges like merging items, collecting coins, or spending diamonds. You’ll earn free energy, diamonds, event tokens, item boxes, toolboxes, and cards for each challenge you complete.

Buy Energy Using Diamonds

You can buy energy using diamonds; the first purchase will give you 100 energy for 10 diamonds and the second will cost 20 diamonds. So the price will keep doubling. The good news is that the cost resets every day which means you can repeat the process daily. You can also buy Energy Chests from the in-game shop, but the same price rule applies.

Level Up

You’ll earn free energy every time you level up in Travel Town. But you’ll need XP for that. Luckily, you can earn it by building and upgrading items on your island. At the same time, the more you play means the more XP you earn, and the more energy you’ll get from leveling up.

Complete Card Sets

When you complete a full card set, you get great rewards like free energy, special boxes, jokers, boosters, and diamonds. If you complete the full album, you’ll earn a HUGE prize. You can earn card packs from daily challenges and events. You can also trade your duplicate cards in the official Travel Town Facebook trading group.

Unlock New Stickers

While unlocking a sticker doesn’t give you energy directly, it gives you diamonds. And as I mentioned above, diamonds can be used to buy energy. So the more stickers you unlock means the more diamonds you can earn and convert into energy.

Play Events

Events are a reliable way to earn energy and other rewards. Each event has its own tasks and board. To check the event rules, just tap the event icon on the home screen then tap the “i” button for details. You have to complete the tasks to earn free energy, coins, cards, and more.

Invite Friends

You’ll earn free energy for each new friend who installs the game using your invite link. But he must play on a new device that hasn’t installed Travel Town before and reach level 6 to count.

Thankfully, you can also earn extra energy during special invite events like Friends Celebration where rewards are doubled.

Join the Loyalty Club

The Travel Town Loyalty Club is a special rewards program which Travel Town added recently. And when you join this program, you can earn free energy, diamonds, and rare items by logging in every day and by completing tasks.

You’ll also earn points from those tasks and as you earn more points, you’ll move up through different loyalty tiers. Each new tier gives you better rewards and special deals in a shop that other players can’t access.

However, you need to reach the level 35 and connect your Facebook account to unlock the Loyalty Club.

How do I get unlimited energy in Travel Town?

There’s no real way to get unlimited energy in Travel Town. The game doesn’t offer any official option for unlimited energy and any site or video that claims otherwise is likely a scam.

If you found a video, or a website promising free hacks or cheats. Avoid it. Most of the time, these can lead to harmful downloads, or viruses that can damage your device or steal your data.

Why are Travel Town free energy links not working?

If a Travel Town free energy link isn’t working, it usually comes down to one of two reasons:
